vb.org Archive - View Single Post - How do I: Not cause vB Enhanced Pages to Mark Forums as Read?

I used a few calls to vB variables to create my "Comment on this..." functionality.

These calls count as a visit to the forums for my users, even if they have not seen them. When they come back say an hour later and actually visit the forums it looks like they already cruised those pages earlier.

Is there a way for me to continue to use my "Comment on this..." functionality and not have it mark my forums as visited for that particular user?
