In a nut shell - the folder '1' (which is an array of your userid) isnt getting created. Usually its a chmod error (never been anything else).

OK, I changed all directories below gas to 777. The error message now is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg() in /home/domains/forum.m1911.org/includes/functions_geekarticles_images.php on line 122

One more thing, in the hack's settings in admincp, even though I enter the "URL to default image" as relative (for example: gas/images/default.jpg) when the settings are saved, it is shown as /gas/images/default.jpg (with the additional / in the beginning).

And I clicked install with a great pleasure. If I can solve this issue, this will take a lot of pain of my back. I have gone to some wierd solutions to be able to show articles in my forums.
