I did various searches here Marco but could find nothing. I am not a hacker or coder but it seems to my simple mind that it would be pretty easy to add a small hack that would delete (when checked of course) an unread PM in track messages from both the senders unconfirmed messages (as it does now) and then just do the additional step of deleting it from the recipients inbox.
