ipb was really hard to edit, especially when trying to move stuff from one spot of the page to another, you would have to edit the php files. ipb admin panel is very very confusing on where to start to edit anything.
i never used phpbb, i always thought that script was horrible for customizing anything. but vb i find it to be a huge improvement from any forum script ever.
