Asuming you didn't create anything in the new database (users, forums, posts) you could use backup/restore of those tables. After this you would have to run the upgrade script again, but that might run into problems. Best would be to start with the complete old database, and then upgrade from scratch.

Not sure if this advice is 100% correct, but that seem to me to be the easiest way.
