It gave me the blank screen, I had been having troubles with line breaks in notepad so I deleted the files I edited, uploaded new ones, and edited with an editor that preserved line breaks- now I see that that wasn't likely the cause, I reinstalled the templates through the install page and no more blankness, but instead it still doesn't work. See attached image.

Posted at their own site too but I figured I'd try and see if anyone knew here since everyone here knows a lot.
