vb.org Archive - View Single Post - What portal system for vbulletin.org?

I can use some kind of http.access config to make people go to mysite.com/portal.php and then the forums are index, right?

And can I approximate what the main site portal is here with vBa? I like it more than vbportal but the editing bit leaves me leery. It'll be a simple portal, just news and a few boxes.
