I think I may have mis-phrased my previous post...
For future versions (namely the 3rd ETA in my sig) I plan for this hack to be independant from uCS.
The phasing out of this dependency will start in v3 with stuff like own vbphrase for money, and own $vboptions for points field and table.
But to make future versions incompatible with uCS would be a step BACKWARDS
