I dunno how much this helps, but I want to say your image paths are incorrect. The black you see in the popup window is the background without an image, meaning the image is not displaying. This might also explain the thumbnail issue. It cannot find the thumbnail, so it substitutes a text link instead.

I checked out your garage, and viewed the properties of one of the "broken" images, and loaded the properties URL...see for yourself what happens...

andi verified the dir where i would like the uploads to go, and after uploading nothing was in it. sooo now.. issues
