i have an events sectino on my forum, that users can post events on, i want a little bit down the bottom that will allow the user to put in start date, end date of the event (and the topic to be taken from the topic of the post).

when a user clicks on the calender bit, it should redirect to the original forum post!

what do you guys think? how hard would that be? i couldn't seeing it be that hard? maybe 1 template change, 1 or 2 files to edit, and 1 or 2 sql statements..

any takers?
