File Comparison Programs

I am looking for a File Comparison Program. I am new to vb and like my board with several of the great hacks from this site.

The last few updates were fun to say the least. I know there has to be an easier way! :P
I did a search and found a few but I am not sure which one to get or is there something better.

Great by the way, and I was wondering if sense the post was started in May of 2002, Is everyone still using this Araxis or maybe something might be better?
