I double the request, this would be something that would be incredibly useful for my site, just the ability to set a different owner to the thread would save a lot of headaches.

If this is possible, that would be great (as a straight mod to the system would be better, so my staff can change it) and even the ability to have a shared thread for 2 non admin people to change and edit would be a godsend.
