I'm using your hack as the basis for lots of types of articles, including sermons. I found that I could use this hack to create categories (in drop down menu). And by using this post to hack a little deeper, I was able to pre-populate the entry form with some details I wanted my users to enter.

I've added some screenshots to clarify.
