vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Send By Email, Additional info from New Users at Registration

I saw this hack in vB2 but no one has made it for vB3.

In vB2, when someone registers your board, a email is sent out with the new user infomation. I'd like to have the referral (member), ip address, and add any custom fields they may have entered information into.

Is there something like this avalable, or could someone tell me how to add this to the registration email?
