I have a little problem ..hope you guys can help me out.

I put a box with rotating banners on the header template on my site:www.automania.com.mx
as you can see the baner drops and looks cool and its hyperlinked very good till then.
the script of the drop images is in Java script.

the problem I have is that if that part is on the template (header, footer or navbar).
I cant use smilies, nor make links. or use bb code on posts, I have used 4 diferent browsers and Mac and PC and it doesnt work (the smilies and options while replying or posting).
If I take away the JS code everything back to normal......so do you know what is wrong, why my smilies are useless or what can I do to solve this???
