Is there really still that many people using 800x600 resolutions nowadays ? I design most of my sites / styles to be viewed at 1024x768 and I've never gotten any complaints on them.

Back on topic - I really like the header that you designed. Only recommendations might be to create a button set that fits the dark colors better. You could also use vButton or something and just modify the colors of the vB ones.
