The current version had the word Forums in that phrase. I removed it, but this is one H___ of a problem! I suspect that the main reason that all this mail is going into junk mail folders or bouncing altogether is because the script is running under user: nobody
I've tried to get an answer to this, but Vbulletin says it's not their problem - it's a PhP thing. On my server, Perl runs just fine as a user name and all email carries that name. PhP appears to run as nobody and thus all the mail is junk by today's standards.
Edit: Installed phpsuexec - got rid of nobody - still have users complaining!
Users Awaiting Email Confirmation - is CHOCK FULL! - Damn Spammers - look what they have done for us!
Edit 2: All confirmation emails to yahoo.com and hotmail.com go into the bulk and spam folders. Anyone have ideas why we are hitting the spam traps?
