Is there a simple news script like pluhnews was for vB2? I know we have vbAdvanced and vBIndex but the problem is that some time the load on my server is high and the forum is not working. With these above scripts, the home page wont show at all. With a imple script like pluhnews, the home page can continue to show and only areas affected by vB will be down

Thats why I would prefer a simple news script that cal simply pull threads out of one forum and display them on another non vB page like plunews used to for vB2
