Use the base href trick in the head of the document. Then, make every other reference (img src, a href, etc.) relative to that base href, not to where the page is stored.

vB can get messy when you start adding folders, but it was not designed with that in mind because virtually nobody does that (although I might with a subdomain which would be interesting).
