vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Posts to hidden forum still found in "New Posts"

I tried to create an invisible forum by choosing "Forum is Active -> No" when setting up the forum. Only the people who I give the URL to should know where this forum is generally. But...when a post is made to that forum, it shows up in "New Posts" and regular users can see it.

Is there a hack or setting to keep this from happening?
