I had the original error some of the above had,I've redownloaded the new zip but now it will not install,the problem I have is the uninstall is not working so I cannot install the new version

It states theres no record of it being installed so it cannot be uninstalled,yet I still have shoutbox options in admincp and all the templates are there.....nightmare!
