i have been thinking about using profile fields for doing this, but i'm sure that it could be done easier / better.

user can insert url and link title (two form fields) and the link displays wherever i put the variable. easy peasy. user can add more than 1 link etc, maybe "add link" up to around 5 links.

well, i have attached a screenshot to help explain a bit better. don't mind the "key combos" bit, unless you know how to implement that too, if so, i'll have another request popping up soon
