If you are willing to pay for this you may find aMember Pro (google it) is one solution. I am not affiliated with this software in any way except that after MUCH searching for a solution, I am their satisfied customer. BTW, your forum(s) do not have to be paid or subscriber-only forums (that's an option in the software). And you can have your forums in separate databases.
