It's basically an exchange service. It's broken down by areas and the only rule is that anything you post must be free.

So, if you have junk you want to get rid of, you post it. People contact you and come pick it up. If you see something you want, you reply to the post and make arrangements to go get it. It's very localized. I live in a medium sized town, and there are almost 2000 members on the list from my area alone.

My daughter got a free bike from the list. We just picked it up today. People have posted everything from free puppies to free cars. Check it out. You just might find something you need.
