A very close friend of mine is going to move his board from ezboard to vBulletin. He runs a politics board and has a sidebar that shows the latest headlines from Yahoo! News (top stories).

It's a javascript from this site:

As you can see, it pulls the latest 15 headlines and the colors and such are a bit customizeable (as shown on the feedroll site).

The only problem is that feedroll is down often, and when it goes down, the whole board doesn't load.

Would someone be willing to write a hack similar to what feedroll does so we could use it on his vBulletin once he moves? I'm sure others would find it helpful as well. Being able to pull the headlines from Yahoo and have the colors and such be a bit customizeable would be great.

Thank you very much! We'd both really appreciate this. It'd be nice not having to go through feedroll, as they are so often down, and have the code on the actual page, so it's guaranteed to work.
