Hello all

I have an idea which I would like to use on my forum but not sure if it exists or is possible to make.

Currently my forum has a large group of registration/profile fields that all need filling in to join our private forum for home owners (ie address, phone etc) but I am going to make a section of my forum open to the public but I still want them to register but of course they won't need to fill in all the details that others do.

So what I am looking for is to have a small and simple registration page and it would allow them into a certain forums BUT when the user tries to enter a forum which they have to enter more registration/profile fields to enter something will appear asking them to enter there address and phone number etc there and then.

What would also be nice is to be notified via email once someone fills this in so I would know to check it out to make sure someone has not cheated to enter but I know this extra would be pushing it

Do any of you kind people know if there is such a hack about or maybe something similar to what I am talking about that I can use?
