what if jelsoft sponsored sucha site to do that like vb.org

really all a site would need like that is the access to vbulletin.com's members to verify email etc. just like vb.org does and basically if person is verified they can download the board. is that not a good idea or what, i was thinking about something like that and i would gladly help run it
