Well as far as your content goes I think you might get a fairly active forum but there's not so much people can talk about, about one IM program unless you attract specific technical developers who are going to congregate their knowledge on your forum. But I may be wrong

Design-wise, you have a stock style. If you want to stand out, be original and try and get a custom style
