in vb2.* there has been also an sidepanel addon, but the addon allwoed the user to specify it, so every user on his own could declare to get the sidepanel ON or OFF .. if anybody know porting it , please feel free to do so

..

the sidepanel option was with an link (wuick link) "show sidepnale" and "disable sidepanel"
