Quite possibly the stupidest question you will have ever read on VBorg

What does it mean to have Google Spiders on your forum? It seems any time of the day or night if I look at online users, I see Google Spiders on various pages.

Are these "spider visits" from Google itself (a bot?)......or are they actually people who have come to my site by following a Google link??
