This is an old thread (mar 2004), but I realized today how this could benefit us as well.

This could be used for mailing lists that send out summaries each day -- the summary could be emailed to the board; which could then include them in the searchable data, in a specific forum tied to the FROM address of the email (in the case of the summary email-list posting) --- or based on the subject.

For my particular use, it can NOT require the username or password to be in the subject; nor can it require specific wording in the subject. I can't change what the list servers send as part of their subject, so to make this work, I have to be able to use THEIR subject and my "special" inbound email address.

But this one requires specific info in the subject -- my interest is NOT to have this specific so that any email can be posted into a specific forum - based on the originator of the email.

Is there any interest out there by the super hackers, to write such a script? We also have a few bucks that we will put in as compensation.

What can be done for vb3? I've searched, but if I have missed where this is done already, shame on me - but please point me to the correct location.
