That's true if you want to try to emulate the big Fantasy Football games, such as the Telegraph's one. However, it doesn't
have to be that big. You could easily remove some of the variables and still have a fun game that's less of a hassle to keep up to date. Football's a big job because of all the players involved, but in any given week, only a sub-set of those players will score, for example. There are only 20 goalkeepers (not including subs/2nd keepers) each week, and few red cards. If you discount things like assists, scoring first etc. the amount of data to enter each time is lessened. As I've just said above, I've planned a fantasy framework which I will be working on soon. Football might always be too big a job for someone to administrate, but a team of people could do it. Something like Formula 1 is quite possible for a single person to look after.
