i found a 2.x hack that requires a post icon be selected for new posts. it can be found HERE, however, this one is for posts. i'm not sure if that's all posts or just new threads.

i'm interested in requiring members to select a post icon for new threads, not new posts.

icing on the cake would be allowing it to be forum specific... meaning you can set whether or not a forum would require a post icon be selected for new threads started within that forum.

can somethign be done like this?
