Maybe this can be done without installing a hack, but I doubt it. I do NOT want to use vB's subscription solution because it's really too limited. What I would like to do is be able to promote users who donate money to the site into a new usergroup. I do not want to use the subscription option because it is timed and limited. I do not want a form of expiration. I've created a vB powered donation page where users can donation money (of their own choosing) to my site. Once they donate, I would like a script to run in the donation success page that will automattically move them to a custom usergroup. I don't want to have to do this manually, nor do the subscription options work for what I'm trying to accomplish. It's basically an automated member moving script that would do the work for me once they user donated money. Takers? Idears? I think this could be beneficial for a LOT of people.
