Now, for this proposed hack:
Admin names & sets up multiple instances (types, kinds, categories, whatever) of journals.
For example: "JOURNALS" "SHORT STORIES" "DEAR DIARY" "FAMILY TRIPS"
Buddies (only members on their buddy's list may view & comment)
Buddies no comments (buddy's may view but comments are disabled)
Private (no viewing or commenting)
WYSIWYG submission form with preview option for entries.
Photos allowed (thumbnails?)
Attachments allowed
Admin can view/delete/edit rights for all entries.

ok about admin's editing/viewing/and deleting entries. well i have decided that all entries labeled private may not even be viewed by administrators cause i believe if something is private it deserves to stay that way i.e. private messages.
um attachments sounds like much but i guess ill think on it
WYSIWYG i dont really have any experience with but if someone cares to explain to me how to use it will gladly code it
instead of using buddylist i though the journalist could designate for each entry who may see that entry by userid
i really wasnt thinking categories this time around but user's can title their journal's as they please or leave them blank and it use their user name.
