**edit** Never mind.. !! I gussed it.. read your post more errr.. slowly

and made sense of it.. this works a charm. For me, we're an air race and aviation site, sometimes the word crash or killed or death or accident or burned, as in burned a piston... will trigger the dreded PSA's (public service announcements) that have no value whatsoever and are not necessairly policitally correct for my board.. this will get past this nicely!
Thanks it does work and is a great way to do things. The replacement variable is a kewl thing.. the big F word with frick for instance.. instead of **** or whatever.. not bad.. VB... not bad aaaat all!!
Thanks!
Ummmnn.. hummnnn... I'm missing something (bear with me.. I'm sort of S-L-O-W

)
When I did it using the smilie code, or using the

it flat didn't work....
So can ya post zactly (my old eyes are having a problem sorting out what you put in) what I'd put in for a replacement variable... for a word say...
crash
where I wanted to replace it with an image named
cword.gif
(I can figger the path out, just need the image call that will actually show it and not the code for it)
TIA!!
