Ok this hack causes the board to use 1 extra querie because the sidebar template isn't added to the cache.
In order to do so do this:

open global.php

find this:

    //'board_inactive_warning' 


replace with this:

    'STANDARD_REDIRECT',
    'sidebar'
    //'board_inactive_warning'
