Has anyone yet taken the time to come up with the rewrite rules for using htaccess in order to turn on short urls for vb?
Just for kicks I ran a blind test of a standard vb setup the old 2. vs. and the same thing, same data, etc.. on another site (mirrors) only the 2nd site was using short urls. What I found was the spiders tore apart the 2nd site, it was like candy to them, while the first site didn't do nearly as well.

Anyhow just wondering if anyone had implemented it into vb 3.0gold yet. If not, I'm lazy, but I'll go ahead and do it for the community, just trying to not recreate the wheel if not necessary.
