I'm trying to port over a reply-by-email hack that I was using on vB2. I was using Gimp's version HERE and it was working perfectly. Apparently neither Gimp nor Chen are able to port their hacks right now, but Gimp's should be really easy.

It will be cake if I can convert some functions. Specifically:

verifyid()
getthreadinfo()
getpermissions()
updateuserforum()
getforuminfo()

If I could learn the vB3 equivalents of these, I could have this script up and running in no time and added to vb's cron. Any help would be appreciated
