Just as with any piece of software, it could be used for ultimately unlawful purposes, at least in Jelsoft's mind.

That's... pretty lame. Although I haven't looked into all of the hacks features, not that I could anymore, I don't know. But, basically it's just a standard thing, isn't it just the same to add a Moderator and let him control one forum? And that's built in, so are they going to block one of their own features?
