insults are most certainly not needed. Like I said, I've done more than my fair share of vb hacking and released some. Your code causes very large problems, end of story. When installed AS INSTRUCTED, your code does not load images or css.

Those are the ONLY two url() events that I've seen in the vb3 default template, yet they're not even loaded. Imagine that.
Code:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="clientscript/vbulletin_css/style-61fb0cb2-00001.css" />
should be /forum/clientscript/blahblahblah
EXACTLY from the source code of the forum. Lo and behold, there's the problem. Or most of it, I'd bet.
<edit as I write this> It was indeed the problem. It wasn't anything with MY installation, but the code, and something THAT drastic shouldn't have slipped out. Creating a symlink from forum/clientscript to clientscript worked like a charm.</edit>

I'm going to ignore the trollfest, because it's neither needed or wanted. I made some simple, accurate statements, that's all. If you want respect, you provide good code. From what i've seen, this is (almost) decent, the install instructions need to be tweaked and that bug needs to go away. Obviously I'm not the ONLY one that's seen the problem, as at least one other suggested moving the css back into the main directory from the forum (which would, sadly screw up the forum).
