Yea I got one - 40GB. They're great but be wary the battery apparently goes dead after 18 months. But I think you can get a replacement for about ?50. Either way it's a nice little investment. You can even use it as an external HD

EDIT: the most important thing you need is a case. The one that comes with the iPod is terrible as it doesn't protect it. The silver back picks up skin oils and scratches really easily as does the screen. I use an iSkin although i wouldn't reccomend the white one as that gets dirty just as easily (well duh
