Very nice! It'd be nice if the announcements section only showed global announcements rather than those showing in just the one forum as well.

How exactly does the News work? I assume you post in the forum you've assigned to News and that shows on the portal? The thing is none of my news is showing... and yes I have checked the forum ID. I also applied the fixes to that news bug and still no joy. Maybe it's just too late. I'm working into the small hours here but I'll let you know how things go tomorrow.

One other thing: The page is slightly wide on 600x800 resolution. Wider than my header/footer.
