kentaurus: I think it's a great idea, and would back your going ahead with it ...

I'd be interested to see an AdminCP section which has a number of actions on the forum which can increase / decrese reputation, and for that to be customisable to the nth degree - aka turn on and off "reputation triggers" and adjust the volume of the effect that it has on a user ... even to the extent that you can specify that on a certain day (a birthday for instance) a person gets extra reputation from the normal set of actions ... aka a multiplier on special days, and maybe a "user of the day" (on my forum it's spammer of the day

) can also be gaining extra reputation by staying in that position ...
