I need to migrate threads/posts/users/forums from a vB 2.2.8 site to vB 2.2.6 site. Can this be done and if so, how?

I have been redirected to this site by vBulletin.com support. They say I need a merge script. I know nothing of scripting, but I have a MySQL person who may be able to help me if it's in regards to MySQL.

Can someone help me.
