Ok so i bought a new hdd the other day a nice 120gb seagate one, i fitted it and know i have calibration errors on my dvd rw when i got ot write anything... it seems theres a power problembeing reported back to me via nero.

the device says its working fine tho..

im wondering would this cause probs :

IDE 1
MASTER = DVD rw
SLAVE = NONE

IDE "
MASTER = HHD with XP
SLAVE = NEW 120GB HDD

Would this maybe be it, as sometimes the drive shows as a cd drive if a media like a dvd is in it, but acts like a dvd to play it etc, but not to write it. Nero express wouldnt even recognize it as a dvd the other day :S
