Can anyone give me a run down on incorporating vb funtionality into seperate pages.

Im wanting to code a file manager for my users (im an experianced php programer... just have no clue how todo so with vb3). What do I need to include to have access to templates, permissions, usergroup access rights etc ?

Any hints and tips would be appreciated, as would links to decent resources.
