winRAR is the best you could use.

explore the prog a bit and you'll see that it is more compatible of opening and encoding archives than winzip or any other packerprog.

BTW if you use "add files to..." and not "add files to xxx.rar" there is an option that lets you decide whether you want to create a zip or a rar archive. but to get into mood with it, open just the prog and walk towards the options. they are useful
