I know I'm months late but I saw this going through the thread to find a fix. By the way thanks Satan for the height restriction fix!

When I was done installing the hack I had the same problem, I got the "The administrator has disabled the use of signature images." message even though everything was ok. For some reason, without mnodifying everything in the admin panel I click on submit modifications and it worked after that. Strange but who cares, as long as it works.
