I'm wondering if there is a hack that allows users to submit articles along with a URL for approval by the admin/moderator.

If so I am wondering if the replies to these articles will have the extra field (the URL one) omitted when users comment on the article?

And if these articles can be seperated into categories external to the VB database?

And if there is a way to display these submissions on the index of a site external to the VB forum with URL displayed with the amount of times it was clicked?

(This for a news site where users submit portions of articles for discussion and the URL field is for the source location of the article which I want to keep seperate for search purposes)

I saw something similar to this. It was ahack for the PHPBB board. It was called Easy CMS.
